Schneier on Cyberwar

I just read a few interesting entries in Bruce Schneier’s blog. His point in one post is that we need to be careful when talking about “cyber war” and we should pay attention to who’s using these metaphors. However, in his classic style, I love his analogy to denial of service attacks as “cyberwar”:

A real-world comparison might be if an army invaded a country, then all got in line in front of people at the DMV so they couldn’t renew their licenses. If that’s what war looks like in the 21st century, we have little to fear.
