Creation came ‘from nothing,’ not God: Stephen Hawking – USATODAY.com:

The Grand Design, which the publishers call Hawking’s first major work in nearly a decade, challenges Isaac Newton‘s theory God must have been involved in creation because our solar system couldn’t have come out of chaos simply through nature.

I hope no one thinks this is anything new. This wasn’t even Newton’s idea and was first challenged by David Hume less than a century after Newton died. Give me a break: are Richard Dawkins and Stephen Hawking going to go around proving the non-existence of God to everyone, like the immortal character in Life, The Universe, and Everything, whose goal is to insult every living being in the galaxy?
